new duramax 4.5L

wat do u all think of the new v8 4.5L duramax diesel GM is thinking about putting in the 09 half-tons. i read it might have 390hp and 560 lbs ft torque.

I think it will be a great move. When GM starts bringing the diesel to cars, then they'll really be doin' it. They're going to have to do something, Dodge sold Cummins to Ford in exchange for a Japanese diesel manufact. so they are out of the way. But the blue oval is going to be bringing some stiff competition to the table.
