system but it just gives me wrong routes and ive inputed for freeways only and viseversa my problem is that if im infront of an address 204 it tells me im infront of address 207 its off is there a way i can calibrate this navigation system im a honda owner
and the 07 honda accord navigation system tells me exactly where i am one more thing on the 07 tahoe when im on the freeway it doesnt recognize that im exiting the freeway so when im on the feeter it still thinks in on the freeway ???? and voice recognition is to good even if i scream my lungs out is there any one expieriencing these issues

Junior,
You need to get rid of that navigation unit. You can remove it and sell it to me cheap and get yourself an aftermarket unit? Let me know your LOW price! Thanks and sorry that unit was probably made for my Tahoe!

I had the 1.10 version and when I called them, they are sending me the current version of the nav (2.0). Thanks for the heads up on this.

Does this count as your one free upgrade?

Once you get the 2.00 disk it will count as one (of your two) free update disks, you will then be able to get the next update disk for free as well when it becomes available and then you're on your own.
They release a new disk about every 8-12 months.

In Arizona the 2.0 navigation update still is full of errors. From Heber, AZ to Holbrook, AZ it calls out about 20 wrong turns using Highway 377 - making it pretty worthless in this instance (especially at night). On other highways it has you turning into mountains and fields with no roads. Funny thing is, my Garmin does it correctly - as does MS Streets and Trips - as does the free internet trip advice. This makes me wonder what software the unit is using! The unit is also NOT user friendly and probably the worst of any I have seen in this regard. Makes me sad I sold my Garmin Street Pilot. I paid an extra $2,000 for the navigation unit.
In Arizona there a LOT of pissed off Caddy, Buick, GMC, and Chevy users out there! There should be a recall or decent software update.

Thanks for info. After checking the website, it appears that you have to wait 'til you get the postcard for the first update as the order form needs a control # which I'm guessing is on postcard. Am I missing something?

ok i went back to dealer got the right dvd nav disk 2.0 for my tahoe and i still get my free two upgrades down the road lol
but i still have the problem where the navigation system isnt accurate on on the freeway and if i exit 45 onto feeter it thinks im still on 45 i went to dealer but i want to test drive with a tech but no one wants to trust me i know how it feels pay back is a bitch but if it were a tech talking to a tech its a diffrent storry i would help him out eventhough i still test drive with customers there isnt anything better than to duplicate a concern on a test drive with the customers other than having a service advisor write up a diffrent concern
im a honda technician here in houston but i wont leave my tahoe because all its going to do is sit there or be driven the hell out
to breakfast and lunch and then the tech will check it out when has done all his cp work first i just wont leave unless they are going to install a new unit or i can wait but then he says its going to be a long time yea right
Z100F1 what would you recomend i do or is there anyone else with this issue does gm have an interactive website for service bulletins service news etc. is there anyway you can hook me up with the link the only bad thing about is that well our honda interactive website
requires our dealer number user id and password dont know if its the same as gm requirments and if your website can pull up electrical schematics one more last question do you know where the gps is on the tahoe 07 lt3
thanks in advance

If you are a service tech for Honda then you should obviously know the importance of allowing enough time for the service dept to properly diagnose the problem, if you are worried about the integrity of the store then choose a different one or voice your concern (and what you expect) to the service manger before leaving your Tahoe.
You also need to bear in mind that this units GPS technology is accurate to within 13 feet AT BEST, but much of time it is less due to environmental variables, number of satellites within your usable area and anything else that could hinder reception.
So if you exit onto the feeder that parallels the lane that you were just traveling in there is an excellent chance that the unit cannot discern the difference due to normal limitations.
The GPS antenna is located at the top of the dash just left of center close to the glass underneath the top dash panel.
