Howdy folks...nice to join the forum but I wish it were under better terms.

I recently purchased a 2007 Silverado Classic 4WD Ext Cab and have had a slew of problems. The first was paint problems and the selling dealer did a horrible job repainting two doors...I got GM involved but they sided with the dealer as it was painted to "GM" spec...too bad the alignment wasn't and I had to have that reset to GM spec at 3000 miles.

Now the truck has developed a vibration. A road force balance of the tires has not fixed the problem and it is going back to the shop Friday for the vibration and an attmept to fix the temperature gauge on the rear view mirror that has been cutting out lately.

I am thinking about using the lemon law if this truck keeps having problems.

I have not been back to the selling dealer since the paint incident as they told me they were "done" dealing with me and the paint. However I have been dealing with the local GM dealer (I had to travel 70 miles to buy it because the selling dealer wouldn't trade the truck) and I was wonering if the lemon laws require you to deal with the selling dealer or just a GM Dealer?

I would also suppose that I should be dealing with GM Customer Service to document trips to the shop also?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
