well i got a 2007 malibu LS and wondering if it has a knock sensor and cant find any info on this so does anyone know?

If you have a 3.5 it has two. Located on the side of the block above the starter.

damn it, i got the 2.2L I4
was just wondering if the motor would be able to take higher octance fuel and be able to adjust timing to it

Your 2.2 has a knock sensor in the block, opposite the oil filter.Why would you want to use higher octane fuel? Higher octane should make it less likely to ping or knock.

well if its got a knock sensor it can adjsut timing if i have higher octane fuel in it. increase in performance. but i wanna modify it a bit first, im not just gonna put in 94 octane and expect any performance lol. looking at exhaust/intake right now. buddy works at the dealership and gets discount on parts so i will see if they can do some stuff. finding parts for I4 malibu is impossible....all i can find is a K&N air filter lol

also wondering if anyone knows whether or not the supercharger off the cobalt will fit on the malibu. its the same motor but i dunno if tranny is the same and if the tranny can hold any extra power. and does anyone know the price on the supercharger from the cobalt?
