What is the best method of lowering the 4 wheel drive Tahoe without sacrificing the ride. I just want to level it out possibly a 2 / 3 drop.
Thanks

I know Ground Force makes an awesome lowering kit for a 2/3 drop. Ride is very close to factory with better handling.

Go with the McGaughy's kit. It has front spindles and rear coils w/ shock extenders. This will be your best ride. It'll cost you though.

Just did a drop on my '01 4X4. Wanted to do a 2/3 but after I swapped out the coils and did shock extenders 2" in the front would have been too much so instead of swapping out the keys in front I cranked the bar enough to where the front is level with the back. I don't really 4X in it but I use it in the mountains to get to my cabin and it's kinda like a washboard road and it handles it well with no rubs at all. Rides really good and I'm alot more confident taking turns at higher speeds.

why would you want to lower a 4wd? lift that thing to the sky.
