Hello Hoe owners and enthusiasts!

My fiance and I are looking to buy a Tahoe in the near future.  I loved test driving the 07 LTZ but thought the body style was unappealing (sorry if I offend anyone)  I prefer the 05-06 look.  So, if anyone can input for me here, what are the major differences with the 3 years other than body type and what are the pros and cons of each year, other than the obvious, mileage and road wear.  Does there seem to be any major mechanical defects that happen in certain years?

I have an Xterra now and hate it, I miss my Chevy and want to get another.

Thanks in advanced!

I just bought my wife an 02 Tahoe from the feds.  Your post did not say where you live, but if you live in Calif like me the DMV fees are pretty steep....except if you buy from the feds.  Here is a link to a 05 Tahoe LS that will be at auction this Friday.  The auction house in southern Calif and  has the local contract to sell surplus vehicles for the Feds.  Viewing the pics, it looked passable.

I like both body styles, but the interoir on the 07 is a huge difference.  I did not recognize it at a chevy when I first stepped into an 07.  I dont think you can go wrong with any late model Tahoe.
