Just baught a 2003 S-10 regular cab long bed. It's just a 2 seater so I have no room to store things and I want to get one of those boxs for the back. I have been looking around but can't find anything that will fit right. Even if I found something that was the right width and height, I noticed the gas tank causes a small bump out in the bed so it might not sit in there right anyways. Anyone know where I can find one that will fit? I'm looking for something like this...

Try Tractor Supply. If not them Orceleans. I don't know how to spell that. They may not have one in stock, so ask, if they won't fit you may have to get one that sits on the bed rails. If you don't want something on the bed rails, but go this route get a low profile toolbox.

If you get a metal type, you could probably notch a piece for the gas bump. if your looking for kevlar/plastic then that is of no help.

What do you mean by "notch a piece"? What about a crossover kevlar/plastic one? Know of where I could find one of those that would sit a few inchs above the bottom of the truckbed?

I have not searched directly, but you would think someone makes one at different "depths" for the metal, you mentioned a "bump"? if you saying the bump is across the entire width of the bed then my recomendation was invalid. If there was one section with a bump, you could pound the metal a few inches in that area only. my s10 has a dura bed line so its all even but not sure the dimension/depth and I have no tool carrier, as its an extended cab for tools and such.

good luck I hope you find something that works for you
