LiftGate and Rear Glass Issue....

wife noticed yesterday that when she opens the liftgate, the rear glass pops as well. I thought she was crazy, but sure enough, when the gate gets about half way up the glass pops.  Anyone else have or heard of this this?????

Could be a wire short in the upper harness that is inside the rubber boot at top of liftgate, not very common at all.

Thanks ZX. Is there a connector located in the booted area or are the wires continuous?

There is a connector at the liftgate but many times the short is in the wire at the body near the headliner where the wire bends.
