Well, after waiting 2 weeks my K2 LED tails finally arrived. I popped the first one in... it was pretty straight forward given no directions were provided. Tested it out and blew a fuse. New fuse and blew again. Any ideas? Tried the other tail and did the same thing. I didn't add a second resistor as others have. Waited on hold with K2 for 30 minutes last night before finally hanging up..

Nothing is ever easy....

hello...

I got the same lights.. make sure that when you plug them the negative from the tail lights plug faces the same black negative from the truck harness.. also before you plug them on make sure that all your lights are off.. i made the same mistake.. follow the same thing with all four plugs.. start from top to bottom... even the small 194 bulb can blow your fuse.. so make sure.. that the black wire from each side of the plug meet when been plug.. on the load resistors.. connect them to the middle bulb only the top one has its own load resistor.

Hope it helps.. let us know.. the out come.. also how did they fit.. on mine i had to cut a peace to make the flush with the truck side panels..

K2's Customer Service Suck.. try contacting Keren from their HR team.. you might find her email on others Negative feedback screan... Another memeber of the Tahoeforum bought a pair and recieved the wrong ones.. he is now waiting to get a new set.. after 3 weeks or so..

Good Luck.. if you need help please feel free to email me.. i have fix most the problems that I encounter with this lights.

I think I'll wait 'til jazejeff gets the new build in.  This K2 Motors outfit just sounds too shaky.

Wow - what a pain - I looked at the K2 threads on this forum and the Tahoe forum. K2 appears to simply be another Ebay reseller that has zero technical knowledge of what they are selling.   If all you guys are trying to do is emulate the look of Escalade tails, you would probably be better served to just watch Ebay for a set of true Esky tails to show up (I've seen them go for as little as $175), or bite the $ bullet & buy new.  At least you know they are GM OEM quality.  I was one of the first to do the conversion and have had zero problems with mine since installed.   You know the old adage, you get what you pay for.

Yep, I have to relearn that lesson every year or so.  But I really like the three rows of LEDs in the K2s and that I don't have to put on new appliques (vent covers for those in Rio Linda).

I haven't changed my vent covers and don't see a need to.
