I put these in my self what do you all think? I was thinking of talking the guy into a group buy if any one else wanted them. They are real leather and the kit can with the jump seat leather cover as well for the LS. I'll try to get some better pics up.

Well I paid 500 shipped for the front two rows and I think its an extra 100 or 150 for the third row. It took me about 8 hours total to install. How much did yoou pay for the oem covers and did you install them your self?

I paid $140 for each row, 3 in total... it came to $460 w\tax
I installed them myself, took about 2-3hrs.. but it came out great... even though i would rather have REAL leather its better then the cloth
it turned out that this one dealer had all the options i was looking for except it did not have leather... but he gave me a good deal... so i took it
Its was a base LT1
Had the special edition package:
20" Polished Wheels
Chrome Grill
Bose
Parking Assitant
Power Pedals
Auto Climate Controls
RearTV

Did the dealer give it to you at that price? or where did you go because I was under the impression that the oem covers were alot more money.

They look good. Post some close-ups if you can. What were the original seats like? What year and mileage is your vehicle?

What are the steps on doing the leather yourself? did you use hog pins and spray?

looks good..... i have an 07 LS and the dealer had these installed.... however, only the front seating areas were leather.... the back seats have special leather.... i think the dealer called it PLEATHER.... oh well I bought it.

I think "pleather" is an euphemism for the hide of the extinct nauga.

nope none are need on the gmt 900 seats. The front have clips that hold the facing in place. The 2nd and 3rd row seats have the fancy little hook and loop (velcro) that hold the facings to the cushion. The back side of the seats attatch with plastic clips similar to the factory. The hardest part on the whole project is not to break the little clips on the plastic trim parts on the 2nd and 3rd row seats.
Just be carefull when ordering kits. Most say leather but in fact on the front seats the inserts and bolsters are the only thing leather. The backing and sides are vinyl. Same with the second row but only the inserts are leather. The bolsters sidesand backs are vinyl. And for the third row its all vinyl no leather. Of course you can get get full leather but it comes with a price.
We just installed black full leather no vinyl (anywhere) with perforated black suede inserts, red stitching and red outlined bowties on the leanbacks on all three rows in the wifes truck yesterday and it cost me 1250 for the kit.

Hey e did you get a Katzkins set? That seems like a pretty good price for an all leather with colored stitching kit from them. Does your kit retain the carpet on the bottom/back of the rear rows?

its a katzkins kit. We a restyler so that was my cost. Yes the backs of the 2nd and 3rd row are carpet like the factory. Nice tight fit, looks real nice all the way around.
