I have a 94 suburban 2500, my instrument cluster has no tachometer. I was wondering if a cluster assembly from the same year with a tachometer would work? Is the wiring the same? Is there already a lead there for the tach? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

On the 1994 models the tach lead is in the wire harness regardless of the cluster the truck came with.

I have one more question, during the cluster swap, is there a way to reset the mileage to the origonal cluster mileage.

That can only be done an authorized repair facility, it is not user serviceable.
Even the dealership doesn't have the proper equipment to adjust the odometer but they can send it off for you and have it set correctly.
