Ok, for anyone who has an 07+ Tahoe or maybe older vehicles use the same part. What is the little plastic whirly bird part that sticks out of the back of the tail light housing and into the vehicle? There are little metal bolts that stick out and the plastic looking retainer clip things. I just need the plastic retainers not the bolts.
Does anyone know the "technical" term for these? A part number? Anything? I need 4 of them.
Like an idiot i sold my factory tails and shipped them 1 day before receiving my new tails. Well the new ones dont have the little plastic retainers however the metail bolt prong things are there. HELP, :).

You could probably check with your dealer's body shop or parts dept.

I was going to check with them in the morning. I was just hoping someone knew the technical term or had a tail housing sitting around and could see if there is a part on it! Thanks.

Long time no see, biglg! Glad to see you've been back lately.
Yeah. your parts dept at the dealership will have the part # and term for it on their maps of bits and peices.

I found out my dealer didnt have them. He found the part number and it was simply called the retainer. I called the nearest dealer with at least 4 of them and they are shipping them to me.
I will post the part number tomorrow for future reference, I have it at work.

They are just black denali tails. However, so far i have gotten two Rights from the seller and both have been cracked when received. Nothing to exciting.
