Help, Went into 4WD because of snow and now it is STUCK in 4WD!!!

I have a 1998 Blazer..... and Two days ago we had a lot of snow and i put it into 4WD for the first time this year, at first it didnt want to go into 4wd, the light would just flash and go back into 2wd.. after pressing it afew times it finally went into 4wd. Now it wont go back, the roads are dry and i dont want to wreck my blazer anymore than it is.... please does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to fix this issue, and if i cant fix it any ideas of what this is going to cost me??? Although it isn't normally required, try hitting the 2WD button and put it in reverse and back up a little.

sounds like ur transfer case encoder motor is bad.

R u stuck in 4 low or 4 hi????
