Hey Guys/Girls

Im new here. Signed up because I cant get this stupid transmission off. I went to the dealership parts and they didn't anything. Other then having to buy new tools. Soo.... Just to be on the safe side. Can some one help me out here? This is what I got so far. Took off all the bolt I could see from the housing (dunno if thats how its spelled). But these two are the only ones left.

So, is there a special tool to remove these two? Tried my sockets but none of them fit. Will appreciate any help.

Thanks for view and helping

Jesse

PS This is a standard transmission on a 93 Chevy 2500.

Thank You Northey.

Could the clutch fork be holding it by chance?

There should be 6 bolts holding the bellhousing in

soak em down with WD40. try to wedge a big screwdriver or pry bar in there and slowly work it side to side. Careful not to crack the housing though

ya its not just going to come off, you will have to work it off, try doing what shwnvw said, that should work, welcom to the forum

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help, and sorry for the late reply. Now I have another question. I got the bellhousing off. All I had to do is pwn it out. But now question is, how do we bleed a hydro clutch?

Asking because Iv tried bleeding it from the slave cylinder and the clutch seems to get stiffer but when I turn the truck on the clutch gets soft and I can't get the gears to go in. I ended up replacing both master and slave cylinder. Can't seem to figure out.

Ill turn the truck off and put it in gear. Turn the truck on with the clutch pressed and the truck wont move. But if I try to put in gear before I turn it on, it wont go in.

Please help...

Thanks

Jesse
