Good shocks?

Hi new here! Anyways I just bought a 99 ext cab silverado and it has ALOT of miles on it 167,000!!! Well it needs new shocks real bad and i am just wondering what the best shock on a budget would be?

I found some rancho RS5000 series on sale on 4wheelparts.com buy 3 get one free!  Not exactly sure if those are any good or not.

Btw the truck has a 3" body lift

Yea rancho makes some pretty good shocks so those would probly be good. another good shock is skyjacker they make shocks and liftkits.

I have used the Rancho 5000 on my last truck 96 1500 Z71 and they were great
and i drive pretty hard

Jhamb, welcome to the forum!!! Is it a body lift or a suspention lift? If it just a body lift then you can get the standard size shock for almost all companies, but if it is a suspention lift then your select will be limited. Check out this site, its where I bought my monroe shock.

Well I decided to go with the Ranch RS5000 series, they seem to be a pretty good shock plus I got a really good price on them too! 149.56 after tax including shipping. fourwheelparts.com is having a sale on them right buy 3 get one free! thanks for the help!
