I have a 99 Monte Carlo. The driver's side window is broken. I was told that the bottom of the window track is broken. How easy would it be to install a new track myself? I realize that I have to take apart the door, which is something that I have never done. Is there any sort of manual on doing this? Is this something that an amateur should even attempt to do?

Pretty hard to change. I'd probably get a body shop to do it for You. Those guys are used to changing stuff like that all the time.
