Does anyone know how to disable the DRL's?

This post claims you can remove the fuse.
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1188 I did some googling and found lots of pages on it,
google I have read that they stop working if the power is removed. My one concern is that GM's use the DRM for air bag calculations.
