start at the wire going to the #1 cylinder, which is on the driver side closest to the radiator support. from there it goes clockwise, the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. the cylinders are arranged like this:
firewall
8 7
6 5
4 3
2 1
front of car
hope that helps!

oh and about the heater core, i dont understand what you're trying to do here? i'm guessing maybe you're trying to bypass it, in that case i would just loop the 2 together with a brass coupler or something.

If You're trying to bypass the heater core, just take the hose leading from the engine to the heater core andthe one leading back to the engine from the heater core and disconnect Them at the engine, Then get a piece of hose and loop it from one engine outlet to the other engine outlet. If You want to have the heater ready to function, then leave the other hoses in place so You can reconnect Them when necessary.
