Chrome mirrors and door handles

Does anyone have the chrome mirror covers and door handle covers that use the 3M tape? I was looking into them and wanted to know how people liked them. How well they stayed attached. And if they looked good or could you tell they were stick on ones. Also, if you could post any pics to show what they look like.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Davemec, I have the Putco brand stick on door handles on my Ford F-250 and they have stuck on very well, they look very good, you cannot tell they are the stick on type, and they have been very durable so far. I have bought a set for the handles for my wifes 07 Hoe for Christmas so I cannot tell you how they look on it yet but I hope I have the same good results. You can buy billet type handles but they are very expensive and pretty labor intensive to install. I personally do not like the mirror covers so I cannot comment on them. Also there are probably many manufacturers (???) of the handles and I only have experience with the Putco brand but FWIW I am happy!

Thanks RedBoat, I'll have to check out the Putco brand covers to see how much they go for.

tahoe07, I was actually watching that listing and trying to decide what to do. Is that the same company you bought your mirror covers from? I too am looking to get the lower covers.

No, it's not the same company. It is however, the best deal I've seen.

Why is shipping $60 on that combo?

I just finished installing the lower chrome covers for the side mirrors and the later 07 chrome factory grille...the tahoe looks great now.

It is a good deal. Just wanted to see if you had used the company to know how trustworthy they are. I will probably go ahead and order from them and see how it goes.

They charge $60 for shipping cause they are only charging 60 for the handles and mirror covers. Basically they are charging 60 for the handles and 60 for the covers and giving free shipping.
foofighter, you got any pictures.

I never just look at the item pricing on E-bay. It's always the bottom line. People jack up the shipping because E-bay takes there cut out of the item price. Shipping and item price on this are as good as it gets on E-bay.
come on Foo, you know better than to tease us and not show pics. How much did you spend on the OEM chrome grille?

Sorry for the delay...
Billet bow tie
Escalade lower chrome mirror caps
Billet front bow tie and 07 OEM chrome grille
we have a friend that owns a body shop so we gave him the part numbers and he ordered it through the chevy parts department.
This is all retail price YMMV
Top grille piece: 15944326 $177
Lower grille piece: 15944321 $155
For the Billet Bow Ties: got them on Ebay
Seller name is: bdc280
Front emblem: Listing number 120064817739
Rear emblem: Listing number 120064812012
All were super simple to install.

Foo,
Would you please provide the seller, and item number of the front and rear bowties you have! I like them better than what i have and would like to see the exact listing of the ones you have! Thanks and it looks great!
Thanks for adding the details!

No that's how you post.. thanks for the pics and details.
That's the first time I've been tempted to go Chrome on the front bowtie. Looks real good Foo.
Your front bowtie is actually the right size. Most are too small. For comparison I'm posting the rear bowtie with the gold/plastic cover removed. I think it may be worth the money to get an aftermarket one...

Looking at your photo it appears that you removed the entire rear bowtie assembly and put this in it's place. Is that the case? If so, how did you remove the OEM piece?

yup the rear assembly came off too easy if you ask me. the new bow tie we bought is too big to fit inside and my wife liked the look
