Well both Chevy and Honda make great vehicles I'd have to say Chevy makes a better truck and car. Heres why Chevy's are relibale and safe. They never let me down in any situation weather Iam Mudding with the grandkids or iam going to see my mom.

Im 35 and have step two children, and I have to say there isnt another automobile id trust with my step children and now my late ex wife then Chevy. My granddaddy drove a chevy, my great grandaddy drove a chevy, my father drove a honda and was a fag, ill never touch another car, unless its got the seal of my approval, Chevy.

If you want pure speed and horse power you want chevy.  If you want raw muscle under your hood you want chevy.  Chevy and your garunteed to win in a race.

Chevy is easy and affordable to customize unlike those rice burning hondas.  I burn those fools in street races all the time.

If you wanna look like a fool pick honda.

Both make great cars but Id have to say Chevy. Because of superior reliability, and availability / cost of replacement parts. Not to mention it supports an American industry / tradition.

Ha, I hate to say this (let me put on my flame suit) but I would pick a Toyota first then a Honda over any American manufactured car. But now on the other hand, Chevy trucks hands down over any manufacturer, yup, even a Ford.

In terms of performance and power, the Chevy is a winner!

I'm so used to Chevy's that I don't think I can replace them with a Honda.

chevy or Honda WHAT????? car truck, van what are you buying, Van buy a honda, the uplanders are not the greatest.....truck buy Chev..Honda dont make a truck, they have a FWD, van conversion, that look like a truck and pulls an awsome 3000lbs, and the manual says DO NOT TAKE OFF ROAD.
dont even get me going on the useless Ridgeline, FWD POS....car either way, Honda are great and you cant go wrong.....why buy chev, well for 07 you get better warranty, more standard features, more power, the only thing Honda beats chev cars is fuel milage, and the cost and difference in interest rates will offset that easy enough, again depending what you are buying.

resale value yes Honda is better, why, well they dont sell to Rental companys for one, so the market is not flooded with buy backs, and you pay more for them, figure it out a base cobalt here is 15 something the same for a civic is 18 something then the interest rate on ourts is 2.9, honda is 6.9 I htink here, so you pay about 6 grand more for it, with prince and added interest to it.  so it should be worth more when you trade it in.

My Thoughts

One more thing average cost to own is higher on Hondas and imports in general, take into account at well I think 60-80,000 miles the timing belt needs done, be prolly 5-700 bucks, chevy uses Chains more reliable.  things like that.

For trucks I like Chevy. But I have had 3 Honda cars and now also have an Acura (hondas lexus).  I would not buy a chevy car. There is no comparison between a Cobalt and Civic (IMO). Reliability, handling, design, overall quality of components, and longevity. In 10 years Cobalts will be filling the junkyards and Honda owners will be laughing. lol

I like both. Sorry.
Honda is made in the USA by the way.
I would have bought a Honda Accord or the new Honda Truck because I was stuck with a crappy Chevy and Chevy dealer. They just never listened to me when I tlold them my brakes were bad. i.e. parking brakes were draggin all the time. Got rid of it because of wild shake & shimmy on highway above 65, worn out suspension caused the thing to bounce down the road never stopping, and the car drifted all over the place. I did just trade that 01 Blazer (S10) 4x4 in for a fleet 2007 Chevy Impala and I am much more impressed with the car. The dealer is still the same and still have a lot to prove to me.
I didn't get a Honda because they aren't willing to make a deal and are more interested in bending you over the desk than they are at making a sale.

yes..precisely for the Chevy. they always had a finest quality products of Chevy performance parts which makes it hit in the market. because of their durability, top performance and excellent Chevrolet performance parts and Chevrolet accessories prices are just a few reasons why customers love it. :)

Come on man you can't be serious!!!!!! There is no comparison. Chevy is the better truck for sure. For one Honda does not offer a V8, that is just lame. Secondly Hondas are UGLY. Just my opinion.

Honda's kick chevy's A$$ XD NOT!!!! chevy's have it all from I-4's to V-8's they are the most dependible cars and trucks and if you get the older cars there is NO other car out ther that will have a better resale value then something like a 69 camaro or nova and trucks chevy trucks are amazing my dad drives a 1500 silverado 280,000 mi. work truck all of the time stuff loaded in the back and still pulls trailers like it was nothin amazing trucks and i like our new one its a 2500 HD amazing truck (dad kinda regrets it though he wants the new body style) Chevy all the way!!!
