My check engine light came on while on the highway. I brought it in to get the codes checked out and it came up as a (coolant thermostat code P0128). I'm thinkin its the thermostat but im not sure can anyone help?

a thermostat cost much of nothing so why not just change it since the code point to the thermostat.
