My new 07 came with just a radio, so i got a stock cd player from a guy with a 06. Well, when i put it in it says locked. I found a bunch of codes and ways to unlock stock radio for 03 and below on other forums, but does anybody know how to unlock the newer ones. (besides going to the dealerships). Any help is appreciated.

Did you ask the guy if he put in a code? I'll check my owner's manual since I also have an 06 & see what it says. I'll post back this afternoon.

Im in the same boat. I have a 6 disc changer to put in my 07 vette and it does the same thing. The chevy dealer in Plant City Florida is saying they have tried to do the reset with no luck. So, has anybody have any ideas? Is there any chevy techs out there that might give us some advice?

what kind of vehicle are we talking about? Accually....regardless of vehicle, you will have to go to the dealership to unlock it
