I'm opening up this thread for everyone to submit their own design of what they would like the official chevrolet forum decal design to be. I'm not sure of the availibility of these decals or who is going to make them, but we will deal with that issue once we pick a design.
Rules of submission:
1. Digital files as well as scanned images of hand drawn artwork are acceptable for submission. Please submit work via PM to EuroGoldLS, or by reply to this post by March 1st, 2008. The decal design must include "www.chevroletforum.com". Further slogans and non-copyrighted artwork may also be included at your discretion.
3. Design must be one-dimensional and one colour only. Winning designs may be altered by chevroletforum.com moderators, administrators and owners for use other than as one-color decals.
4. No copyrighted logos, designs, or registered trademarks are permitted in the design.
5. Five finalists will be selected by moderators and administration from
www.chevroletforum.com.
6. Winner of the design competition will be selected from these five finalists by a member poll that will run from March 2nd until April 1st
7. Work that is submitted must be made for the sole purpose of this competition. By submitting your design, you waive all distribution and reproduction rights to
www.chevroletforum.com, which becomes the sole owner of the design.
www.chevroletforum.com is therefore entitled to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and distribute the design freely.
8. Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these rules.

Hey Euro.
You might need a Redbull...
Next time you cut and paste take time to proof. You left the blazer.com name in where it shouldn't be and failed to change the dates.

My inlaws do vinyl graphics, they make quality stuff. Hell, they made a huge vinyl to cover my tailgate, its pretty frickin sweet! So yeah if you need a contact to take care of that stuff, let me know

Thats cool, is he gonna do it for cheaper than the original quote, or is about the same price?

This is tentative. With A (1) 12"x1" sticker is $10 a pair is $20. You will be able to get smaller sizes and they will be cheaper.
Someone other than me enter a decal!!!! Or enter a decal idea...

Thanks Euro. I was hoping to squeeze the layers (top to bottom) to create a bowtie when viewed from a little distance.

Thats what I was thinking you were getting at. I'll see if I can modify like that with my Paint.NET program and make it resemble a bowtie a little more. It can't blatantly be a bowtie or else it will be subject to copyright.

Can't use the chevy logo officially.... its copyrighted. Forums and clubs have gotten in trouble in the past for using it.
I like your idea though....

The copyright thing kinda ticks me off. You can buy bowtie stickers anywhere that are made by third parties and they are not subject to copyright.
