camaro 69

hi there i'm new round here and i live in the uk. i've been in love with the 69 camaro since i was a youngster and i've finally got one by selling my old house and now i really want to build it so that it can go like hell. i've already created a beetle monster a golf rallye running 350bhp and a 450bhp rx7 but i think now i'm ready to take on the musclecar and i hopefully want her to put out at least something like 500-800bhp and i've heard from friends that its possible if you no the right stuff so i was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction about building something that can go. i've visited sites like jeggs etc and i just don't no where to start because theres so much to choose from please help me guys thanks

Get a forged steel crankshaft.

i've got the money ready but what stroke crank should i go for i've been looking at the cranks on jegs and i'm hoping to get an eagle crank what do you rekon mate

Welcome to the Forum. You should get a Balanced Rotating Assembly. ( Crank, Rods, Pistons Etc, ) I know Eagle Sells an assembly like that. By the way, try the Camaro Forum by Clicking on Camaro on the top right.
