Hi, I've been reading the posts all morning and have not found what Im looking for. I have a 07 with the bose speakers. I was reading on the chevy site and it states that the bose speaker option brings a subwoofer. My question is, where exactly is the subwoofer located. I looked all around the center console and I cant find it. If anybody has pictures it would be great. Thanks...

The sub is under the center console section. However, i have no mroe detail than that as I have not taken it apart to see it. But knowing Bose, I am sure it is a very small sub!
JL Audio makes a 10" sub enclosure that fits under the center console area!

Thanks for the reply. Im just curious more than anything else. I already have a 12" kicker sub with custom box to fit behind the 3rd row seat. I just wanted to know if I paid for something and didn't get it. Thanks again..

What are the dimensions of the sub? What does the enclosure look like? Is it a tube?

I have the 25" sub in mine. I have to wear ear plugs.

Looks good. Does it vibrate/shake the crap out of the rear hatch? Do you have the bose system also?
Xclusive, what does the factory bose sub look like? How big? What kind of enclosure? Thanks.

I have the remote for the amp set at about 1/4 to 1/2. Depending on the music and the volume it will shake the rear hatch some. I actually like to put the 3rd row up and aim the speaker to the outside. It sounds a little better to me that way. I do have the bose speakers..

its ur typical bose 6" or 8" sub not sure cause i never bothered to remove my center console to bypass the amp when i added my system....i just ran new wires throughout the truck to the new speakers and kept it in there as a mid running off the fctory bose amp....they are also usually in a sealed enclosure in order to allow it to be put in a small confined area such as below the center console...

If its there in my truck, its either disconnected or useless. I hear no base at all coming from the center console...

its not a hard hitting bass like a subwoofer, its more like a midbass...

It will not be as loud as an aftermarket 10" JL audio. It does hit a bit, but nothing like what u might be used too. I had a 1 10" JL and it hit hard, everything comes down to how much is enough or not enough.
