big wheels under a 61 impala

I am restoring a 1961 Impala and would like to add some bigger wheels and wider track under the body.  Since I do not have the space in the wheel well, what else can I do to fit these wheels.  Will they scrape and can I then turn the front wheels without hitting the frame.
