I've got a '96 2500 6.5 Turbo Diesel that I bought new in '97.
I've replaced the compressor 3 times and is now in the shop for the rear air condensor and lines for the 2nd time, $2,800.00 in repairs.
What is up with the air on these trucks? They are telling me it's pretty common, more so on vans than on Suburbans. I wonder if there is a recall.

I meant evaporator not condensor.
