Randomly my 2005 Malibu's intake will shift from closed to open. There's no rhyme or reason, it will suddenly change and I can notice due to the slightly warmer air and the ability to smell the city stink floating in the car. It happens sitting still or moving. When I shut off the car the intake is closed, but when I start the car up it's open.
I'm not sure if this would be a wiring issue or something due to the intake. Any thoughts from you gurus?
