99-06 1500 frames, let me know what you think

Whats goin on chevy forum members. Ok i have a question for you guys/gals. Me and a friend at school are kind of in a disagreement. He states that the c/k chevy truck frames(88-98) are stronger than the silverado frames (99-06).  He says that on the silverado frames they bend and kink right after the cab and that is a weak spot and that if you put a trailer on there it will twist and bend your frame rails. That is why i don't agree with him. I don't see how the c/k frame could be stronger than the silverado because Gm claims that it is 25% stronger than the previous generation, which is the c/k gen. Gm even goes further to prove there claims by stating that the front frame rails are hydroformed and the frame rails are rolled and the frame features many crossmembers. The models we are refering to are the chevy 1500 c/k and the chevy 1500 silverado 4wd and 2wd version's.
 
Let me know what you guys think and/or if my friend is just full of it(which I think)...

unless you strongly abuse either one, the frame  will out last you and your kids .my ole man is still driving a 1940 1/2 thats been back on the road since 1975 !!!!!!!!!!!
