Hi,
Just joined, and looking for a few answers.... Looking to upgrade my tow vehicle, and found a couple low mileage 2001 3500's with the 8.1/Allison auto... Just wondering if anyone out there are running these combo's, and what kind of fuel mileage your getting... Any problems with the trucks..??
I've read some things on piston slap..., and some owners having problems with that...
Just looking for something dependable to venture out a little farther from home, hauling horses... My trailer loaded weighs in at close to 12,000 lbs.
Really can't justify the cost of a diesel, for the amount of miles per anum...
