hello all, My 92 caprice is having a couple problems first and fore-most its kinda loud, I have a manifold gasket leak. Im thinking of not fixing the leak and just intall full-length headers. my friend has some for a 350 and I heard both motors have exact same bolt pattern. should I fix the gasket leak or switch to headers. second thing is I have a need for more power.... I want to bypass my a/c compressor pulley but dont know how or what belt size to get. third is should I intall an electric cooling fan and remove the clutch fan. thanks for all hellp and very appreciated.

The bolt pattern on the Cylinder head is the same but will they fit Your chassis? I don't believe that Chevrolet used a gasket between the head and exhaust manifold from the factory ( machined fit ) so You may have have a cracked manifold. The A/C doesn't draw any power unless it's turned on. The fan change would be minor. Do a good tuneup and do look into the header thing.

The bolt paterns are the same.... and there is minimal power geting taken inless you take out the whole a/c weight mostly but overall it not going to do much a friend did it and nothing happend then I'm not sure about the whole gasket thing or manifold nick

dude i did all that except headers to my caprice and taking off the clutch fan was the biggest gain. Advanced auto sells a/c bypass pulley to bolt right in and try checking the bolts on your manifolds. i have to tighten the rear on both sides like once every couple months for some reason.
