My girlfriend has a 2005 Chevy Impala that she recently bought used off of car lot. Because I am now a headlight person (via hidplanet.com), I noticed while she was driving at night that the beam on the passenger's side was unusually high, high enough to illuminate every street sign on the side of the road a good distance away. On further inspection when the headlights were aimed at a wall, it is obvious that the passenger side beam is much higher and has a more focused beam than the driver's side. I am wondering if this was done by Chevy to help the driver see street signs or is there something wrong with her passenger side headlight. Thanks for looking.
