So I bought my 2004 K1500 Silverado about 3 months ago, and the heater speeds 1 and 2 didn't work. Recently, all quit, except for 5. I figure its resistors and the only reason speed 5 still works is that it has no resistors inline. I popped the controls out, and took them apart. It is not apparent where these resistors might be. I'm handy with a soldering iron, so I'm looking to do this myself. Where are the resistors, and what are the specs? I'd love to just solder in some replacements.

Also plagued by the speedo stepper motor issue, but I figure I'll take it one step at a time.

Some of the resistors are part of the resistor module connector (7-black and white wires) and there are also two blower motor resistors, these are found at the blower motor, you will have to drop the black plastic hush panel under the pax side dash to access them.
