2004 Radio Problem

I've got a 2004 Trailblazer and I've recently run into a problem with my radio. Here's the deal...
 
There is no sound when I have my radio set to an am/fm station. However, I can play CD's without a problem. Any thoughts as to why the radio does not work, but the cd player will? Thanks in advance - SD

I think since you can play CDs and listen to them without problems, your unit output is fine, you have to check your receiver circuit, look for a connection that is not fixed. Otherwise, take your car to repair shop but don't let them convence you to replace the whole unit  ...
