2004 Impala Radio Heat

Whenever we play the radio or CD player the face and controls seem to be very hot to the touch. When ejecting a CD to put another one in, the CD seems hotter than normal. The dealer says the power for the entire car goes thru the radio controls and that is why it is hot.

Anybody else experienced this problem?
