Service 4wd light recently came on. A mechanic friend of mine put it on the computer and told me the transfer case motor was gone. I've called a few autoparts shops and no one has a motor for my model....only 99-02 .....truck has auto, 4 hi, lo and 2hi ...anyone else out there with this problem or know what year's are compatable? Any help would be appreciated :)

I forgot to mention that the light would go out when i turned the truck off and i would be able to use 4 wd..(i could hear the motor working)as needed until tonight all lights have gone out and i can't switch into 4wd at all. I'm was also hearing some noises in my dash since a bit.
