I pulled into a parking place in an underground garage. In my haste I sharply pulled the ignition key out of the lock and went
out. I came back 15 minutes later and found that the ignition lock would not turn. I can put the key in easily. The steering wheel
is free to turn. The shifter is in Park and will not move. I tried my spare key but the results are the same.
I had the car towed to my house. The tow truck operator said I should just call a locksmith. I was thinking of having the car towed to the dealer since I have the GMPP (car has 37,000 miles on it).
Has anyone had this problem, or know of it?
