2003 Cavalier wipers

Anyone having problems with the wipers stopping mid windshield??

It only happens to me when on delay, or there's drag on the windshield (ie high wind, light snow, snow/salt spray).  The lovely dealership cant get it to it for them, but I drive approx 3 hrs a day, and it does it all the time!  It seems to only be the right arm, it skips when it gets to the middle.  We thought it might be something sticky, but it's been cleaned several times, along w/the blades. help!!

is this a recall item I havent seen?  I just got it (still under ext warranty) in July, has 37000 mi.  thanks!
