2002 Trailblazer Front Suspension Clump

I own a 02 Trailblazer and at 55,000 miles I was advised that my right front strut needed replacment. I chose to replace both sides. Ever since every time you go over a bump or hit a rough surface, there appears to be a clump sound. Any suggestions on where to go from here.
