2002 Sububran Keyless Entry

My factory keyless entry stop working I thought it was the battery in the remote but replaced it and still nothing. I even reprogrammed it and the remote responds but afterwards still nothing.

remote responds????  how do you know if it is not working....I had one awhile back just worked intermittent, figured I dropped it and broke a connecton on the little computer board inside, it worked if I tapped it, Try a new one, see if it works, if not something in the truck is not talking to the remote
 

Those remotes do break the boards on the inside all the time. I would suspect that before anything else. JHH
