2002 crew cab power window motor replacement

Does anybody know where I can find details of window motor moter replacement. I have the right front doormotor half removed, but am stumped. I need some help/advice or instructions to go any further. There is a maze of criscross cables that the motor is attached to, and I can't see how to disconnect the motor. I can't believe you would have to remove the whole assembly. What a nightmare that would be.
