I've got a 2000 tahoe with a factory radio. I measured it and its 4" tall by 8" wide. Apparently a "DIN" is 2" which implies I should be a double DIN radio to replace it. But, I keep seeing DIN and a 1/2 reccomended for GM/Chrysler radios so now I'm not sure if I need 1.5 or 2 DIN radio? I want to replace the radio with one that has built-in sirius and a cd player. Any suggestions?

i have a 01 suburban the double din is a lil big for the dash you will have to trim your bezel, but they do make the din .5 that has the stereo and little compartment underneath it.but you have many options of radios to choose that will fit best so keep your eyes open, you might want to check on ebay for all your items. goodluck reply back with the finish results.
