I just had a heater core go bad on me and replaced it. Now my AC is "Pouring" water out of the floor vents. I have heard of this problem of a condensate line dripping back into the cab before, but this is "A Lot" of condensate. Could I have missed a drain or something in the removal/installation of the system when I did the heater core?

The funny thing is that the water comes out only when cornering or when you take the cabin air filter cover off. Those filters were soaked. I need help.

Thanks,

Jeff

wow, my old mans truck does the same thing, except as far as we know nothing has been done to heater core, his is a 1999.......he bought it used and it only had 24K on it, so unless it blew out early which wasnt metnioned or shown on receipts it appears it is an unwanted factory option, kinda like O2 sensors

yeah dude, there is a black drain tube that goes from the heater core module through the firewall .. look under the hood at the firewall and if you see a hole in the firewall instead of the black tube, you didn't put it through the hole during installation of the module, if it is there make sure it's not clogged
