got a 1997 GMC 1500 with a 3 inch body lift, 33X12.50 BFG M/T.  going to add a 3inch suspention in hope to fit 35X12.50 BFG M/T, some people say it will not work with a 15 inch rim becasue the offset has to be so big. will the 35's fit with a 16 inch rim or will it fit with the 15s too?

any thoughts are greatly appreciated

I imagine it will work out.I have heard that 15 inch rims won't fit on the rear axle but I have a buddy that put 15 inch rims on his silverado.Hope more people reply though so you can find out for sure.

i dont have 15 inch wheels though mine r 17 inch but i dont see why u would have any problems getting 15 inch wheels with the right backspacing for ur truck.

i have a 97 1500 with a 3 inch suspension lift, and i recently put my buddies tires on to see if they would fit. i currently have 33x13.50x16 that dont rub at all, and the tires i put on were 315x75x16 (34.6x12.4x16) they fit, but barely rubbed, id say you could fit them for sure on a 6 inch total lift.
