The truck won't turn over, or do anything when the key is turned. We had the starter tested, and it tested out fine. We also replaced the solonoid that is on the starter. Does anyone know what might be the problem or what to look for?
Have you checked/ cleaned the battery terminals? Even when the connection looks and feels tight and good, if they are corroded or even a little bit loose, all the lights and gauges will work, but your starter won't do a thing.

im having the same problem with mine, 1993 1500, starter is good, battery is good, connections are good, changed the ignition switch, still wont do anything, it will start if i jump the solonoid, any ideas?

Check the wires from the ignition to the solenoid.
