I just did the McG's 2/3 drop to my hoe. 07 LTZ 4wd, auto ride.
I have to aggree the instructions leave a little bit to be desired.
Measurements before drop:
(ground to fender opening at wheel centerline)
Front: 36" Rear: 38 1/2"
After drop:
Front: 34 3/4" Rear: 34 3/4
And your toe-in is gonna need some serious attention if you want to drive it!
I think the back is too low now, looks like it tilts back.
Ride? I kinda think it went to hell in a handbasket. Seems awful harsh now.
I think if I jack up the air shocks it will just get worse. May look into diff rear springs.
