Hi,
I posted this question in a couple of other forums, but this one seems to be the most active.  I realize this is a Tahoe forum, but....

We just bought our 4th Suburban...a 2007 LTZ.  Obviously we love these things!  Our most recent Suburban was a 2003 LT fully loaded.  My question to you '07 owners is this:  Do you think the insulation in the doors is adequate?  Our '07 allows in much more noise from surrounding traffic, stereos, voices etc. than our '03.  The other thing I noticed is if you are standing outside the '07 you can almost understand the stereo word for word, even with it at a low volume.  (Yes, I have double checked that all windows and doors are tightly closed). Are there others out there that have found this to be a problem, and if so what have you done about it?

Dynamat is one answer albeit very expensive.  Maybe I'm just losing my hearing but my 07 Tahoe seems very quiet even at hiway speeds.

that doesn't sound right...I'm like 73Shark and my LTZ is amazingly quiet, highway and city

My 07 Tahoe does the same thing.  I only notice this while my car is parked and the engine is turned off.

Maybe the noise comes through the AC vent since they dont close off all the way.???????????????
